Gift Pouches

Uses for our 12" Gift Pouch Squares
Why so many Gift Pouch Pattern you might ask. Well I use one in the "center" of my Bearghans I make for "MACS" {children with cancer} and put a 3" or 4" pocket pet {Teddybear} in the pouch for them . A nice little extra surprise for the children.

More way to use Pouches
The Pouch is in the center of the square & has many different uses. You may want to add a crocheted heart, pocket pet, angel, or perhaps a "Get Well" message or note.

Your tag (with your name & e-mail) can also be placed in the pouch folded in half when using for exchanges. The list goes on and on, these few were mentioned to give you some nice ideas & ways to share your love.

When using in a Comfortghan/Friendshipghan alternate with plain squares. To do this, omit the pouch part of the pattern

If you change the colors at Christmas to a Christmas theme, what a nice present to give a loved one and neat way to hide small gifts & or trinkets.

You may want to use this pouch to send pebbles (pebble pouch) to your exchange partner. (If using as a pebble pouch, please write on each pebble your name & cite where pebble was found) When sending pebbles, please wrap pebble in tissue paper before inserting into pouch so it doesn't pull or stretch the pouch

Help yourself to my free 12" Square Gift Pouch patterns, and think of ways to fill these pouches with that special something to light up someone's life

  1. What a wonderful idea!!!! I can't wait to make some. I just sent prayer cloths to two ladies that I was neighbors with when I was a child/teenager. Both are in their 80s now. They were so surprised and delighted. Thank you so much for all the patterns you share. I would like to make lapghans for these ladies and then put something special in this pouch square. Thanks!!
