Headstart X's & O's Hat pattern
{Comforting Children One Stitch At A Time}
{Special Stitches X & O Stitch }
ch 3, **sk 1 sts, 1 dc in next st, {to make the next dc go around back of st just made & into the front of prev. st making 1 dc} X st just made ** repeat around,
*** NOTE***
[Space "between" the X's, creates the O without you having to do anything to make the O st. how lucky is that]
*** SPECIAL NOTE ~ * Rows 6-8 ***
if making the X st scares you, you can still make the hat only using 1 dc of different color in each st instead of making the X st.

"Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was hungered, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger and ye took me in: Naked and ye clothed me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me." "And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." Matthew 25:34-36;40 (KJV)
