       st, 2 sc in next st, *repeat around, join, ch 1 (9 sts)

Beard: Cut 4 -  6" strands of white yarn, following photo,
       a1ttach beard yarn (like you would fringe) between rows
       7 & 8. slowly un-twist yarn, now you have 4 single curly
       yarns that create a natural looking beard.. enjoy

Fish Pet Mat

                    This is "my" (JMSQ) version of the Pet/Fish Mat...

Lillibet Lugo has made fish mats for cats & paw mats for dogs... They
are so cute so after seeing a photo, I thought I'd whip up my version
of this awesome pattern design and give Lillibet Lugo all the credit
due for inspiring me.. enjoy

Rhonda's Turtle

                                   In Honor of our Turtle Girl "RHONDA"
This turtle (Orange Turtle) will stand on all it's legs, (just bend them down
into place) or simple fit into your egg. If you want a smaller (Brown Turtles)
egg & turtle, just use a G or F hook and follow directions


H Hook
WW yarn

Turtle Shell: Make 2, 1 for TOP shell & 1 for Bottom Shell
With Orange,
Row 1: ch 4, 1 dc in 2nd ch from hook, 2 dc in next st, 3 dc in next st,
      [working on opposite side of beginning ch] 2 dc in next st, 1 dc
      in base of ch 2 space, join (9 sts)

Row 2: ch 2, 1 dc in same st, *1 dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st,

Bootie: Make 2

WHITE YARN:
Row 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in 2 ch from hook, (DO NOT JOIN) place
marker (6 sts)

Row 2, 2 sc in each st around to marker, (DO NOT JOIN)
place marker (12 sts)

Row 3: *1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, *Repeat to end,
(DO NOT JOIN) place marker (18 sts)

Row 4: 1 sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st, *Repeat to end,
(DO NOT JOIN) place marker

Row 5: 1 sc in each st to end, (DO NOT JOIN) place marker


CHANGE TO RED:
Row 6, 1 sc in each st to end, (DO NOT JOIN) place marker


CHANGE TO BROWN:
Row's 7-13: 1 sc in each st, (DO NOT JOIN) place marker, "UNTIL" end of row 13,


HEAL SHAPEING:
Row 14: 1 sc in each of next 18 sts (LEAVING LAST 6 STS UN-WORKED) Turn
[your now going to work from side to side instead of in the round.]

Row's 15-20: ch 2, 1 sc in first st, 1 sc in each st across, turn

Row 21: ch 2, 1 sc in first st, 1 sc in next 6 sts, *DEC. 1 sc over next
2 sts, *repeat 1 more time, 1 sc in last 7 sts, turn

Row 22: ch 2, 1 sc in first st, 1 sc in next 5 sts, *DEC. 1 sc over next
2 sts, *Repeat 1 more time, 1 sc in last 6 sts, turn

Row 23: ch 2, 1 sc in first st, 1 sc in each st across, ch 1, turn

Row 24: join top corner to opposite top front corner, ch 2,
1 hdc in each st around, Join

Row 25: ch 2, *1 fphdc in next st, 1 bphdc in next st,
*Repeat around, join & fasten off [leave long tail to sew up heel seem]


Ears: E Hook & Brown yarn: (Make 4)
Row 1: ch 4, 5 hdc in 4th ch from hook, turn (5 sts)

Row 2: ch 2, 1 hdc in same st, 2 hdc in each st across,
fasten off leaving LONG tail to sew on (10 sts)


MOUTH: E Hook: (Make 2)
With Red yarn,
ch 10, 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in each st across (9 sts)

Change to White Yarn,
2 sc in end st, 1 sc in each st along side, 2 sc in end st, 1 sc
in each st along opposite side, Finish off leaving LONG TAIL to sew on


Assembly:
On row 8 of Brown, I place 2 X sts to form eyes
On row's 11-12, I placed mouth and sewed it into place
On side of slipper on row's 8-10, I placed ears

Row 1:) ch 25, 1 hdc in 3rd st from hook, 1 hdc in each st., 2 hdc in last st, turn, 1 hdc in same sts (3 total) and up other side of chain, 1 hdc in base of ch, then join to top of the ch,

Row 2-7:) ch 2, 1 dc in each st across, Join. Slst in 8 sts to close toe of boot, do not fasten off.
Row: 8) Ch2 Hdc in ea remaining st around boot leg.
Row 9-13:) ch 2, 1 dc in st around, join with slst to finish rounds.

Row 14:) Ch2, 1 hdc in each st around, join & fasten off

Row 15:) Attach white and ch 2, 1 hdc in each st around, join
Row 17:) Ch 2, dc in each st around join.
Row 18:) Ch 2, 1 hdc in each st around join, ch 14 (hanger), join to st, and fasten off, tuck in ends.



Measurements:

Toe: 6" wide

Body: 8" tall

Plus loop for hanging

J & K Hook
Redheart WW yarn - 1 skein 7 oz

With K hook, ch 151 loosely, switch to J hook

Row 1: 1 dc in 3 ch from hook, *1 dc in each st across, turn

Row 2: ch 2, 1 dc in 1st st (in ch 2 space), *skip next st,
1 dc in next st, 1 dc in st just skipped (X st compleded),
*Repeat across ending with 1 dc in last st, turn.

Row 3: ch 2, 1 dc in 1st st (in ch 2 space), 1 dc in each st across, turn

Row's 4,6,8,10,12,14,16: Repeat row 2

Row's 5,7,9,11,13,15,& 17: Repeat row 3

Row 18: ch 1, *sl into next st, ch 1 *Repeat across, finish off

HOODIE:
Fold in half with right side inside facing eachother, join with a
sc in top of scoodie, sc in both st's together down about 12" to
form hoodie, fasten off & tuck in tail
