Kelly McBee's Prayer Shawl

This is the photo of the Prayer Shawl I made for Kelly McBee...
Please continue to hold her and her Precious family deep within your prayers

When knitting this Prayer Shawl, I used RedHeart WW Yarn, size 10 1/2 needles. I always start with the the Praying Hands first, then knit and work the Reverse Cross for the other end.  The pattern below for the Cross'es pattern is listed below, but the Reverse Cross is  at the "bottom of the pattern".

Pattern for the Praying Hands can be found here:

Spa Cloths

                                 "JMSQ "Copyright © 2013

Spa cloths are used the same as wash cloth.
They are easy & fun to make, They are wonderful to give
as gifts. I like to add a bar of lavender soap with my
Spa Cloths as a nice gift.

NOTE:
Make sure you dry your Spa Cloths after each use. I hang
mine over shower faucets to dry, or over shower curtain
to dry. They will smell of mold if not throughly dried after
each use.

Strawberry Pot-Holder

Recieved this pattern from: Olga Velazquez
*This is NOT one of my (JMSQ) patterns. Original creator is un-known. Olga is sharing her written pattern from photo's she saw and wrote down the creation to share with us...

To start , you can either ,chain 6, close to form a circle or
use the magic circle.

With green ( or color of choice)

Rnd 1- chain 3 (counts as 1st. dc),17 dc….(18)

Rnd 2- ch. 3 , 1dc in same space, 2 dc in each dc. (36 dc)

Rnd 3- ch 3 , 1dc in same space , *1dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in
next* .  Repeat from * to *
.
Rnd 4 – ch 3 , 1 dc in same space *ch 1 skip 1dc , 2dc* in
next..repeat to end.

Rnd 5 Slip stitch to chain 1 space. Chain 3 , 1 dc in same
space. , ch 1 2 dc in next ch space , continue around to end .
Fasten off.

With color of choice , join yarn to any chain1 space.chain 3,
2dc in same space. *ch2 ,3dc in next 10 spaces for a total of
11 3dcs. Chain 3 , SKIP NEXT SPACE, 3DC IN NEXT SPACE
for a total of 11 more 3dc spaces. You should have , 11 3dc spaces ,
1 skipped space , 11 more 3dc spaces and 1 skipped space . Join .

Rnd 6- Slip stitch to next space ,ch 3 , 2 dc in same space.2 dc ,
3dc in next space continue for a total of 10 3dc spaces. Ch. 3 …
skip next 3dc , 3dc in next ch space. Continue in this manner
to end

You will continue in this manner, this will cause it to get
smaller and form the tip  This makes the front and back in
one piece….I hope I made sense , I’ve never translated a
pattern …maybe if you read this and look at the pictures
at the same time it may be
